1. What ages do you accept?
MKCBR serves school-age children entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. Campers are grouped by age to ensure developmentally appropriate activities and instruction.
2. What are camp hours?
Camp operates Monday through Friday 7:30am-5:30pm. Thisincludes structured programming throughout the day.
3. What does the registration include?
Registration includes 3 official camp t-shirts, name badge and identification materials, field trips processing and reservation fees, LEAP-based enrichment materials, arts and STEM supplies, and administrativr and insurance coverage.
4. Are meals provided?
Yes. Campers receive breakfast, lunch, and a daily snack. Menus and nutrition guidelines will be shared with parents.
5. What makes Momentum Kids Camp different?
Momentum Kids Camp is not a daycare. We provide structured programming including field trips, game room access, carnival days, LEAP-based academic enrichment, leadership activities, and active play.
6. What is LEAP-based Enrichment?
Our enrichment sessions align with Louisiana learning standards to help prevent summer learning loss. Students receive reading and math reinforcement through engaging small-group instruction.
7. How often are field trips?
Field trips occur regularly throughout the summer. Parents will receive advance notice and permission forms.
8. What is the Game Room?
Our supervised game room includes age-appropriate gaming structures with scheduled and monitored access.
9. Do you offer refunds?
Registration fees are non-refundable. Weekly tuition policies are outlined in the parent agreement.
10. What if my child has an IEP or 504 Plan?
We welcome all learners. Parents should disclose accommodations during registration so appropriate support can be panned.
11. What is your behavior policy?
Momentum Kids Camp maintains a zero-tolerance policy for bullying and unsafe behavior. We emphasize respect, responsibility, and leadership.
12. How do parents receive updates?
Parents receive weekly updates, digital communication access, emergency notifications, and occasional photo updates.
13. How do I secure a spot?
Complete the registration form, pay the registration fee, submit required documents, and receive confirmation. Spots are limited and filled on a first-come basis.
